Public newsletter 1:2023
We are approaching Spring and we are looking back at an eventful start to 2023. We have said thank you and goodbye to Sara Palander the Center’s Director for the past 12 years and we are welcoming Maria Rydberg, former project manager at the Center, as the new Director.
In cooperation with all partner organizations, we have prepared a large application to Vinnova to get funding for a Competence Center within life cycle action for climate neutrality and circularity. And for the first time since Covid we have been able to give our two-day course in applied life cycle thinking as a physical course, which was greatly appreciated by both course participants and course leaders. Looking even further back, we have also said goodbye to 2022 in our Annual Report and celebrated a growing network, several projects and a bunch of fantastic events, both digital and physical.
Looking ahead, we recently received very encouraging news when our application to host the 26th SETAC LCA Symposium in Gothenburg in October 2024 was approved. Read more about it and other ongoing and upcoming projects and activities below.
Sincerely,
Anna and Maria, Technical Secretariat, Swedish Life Cycle Centre
