Government agency group
The aim of the group is to increase the collaboration between government agencies and between agencies and Swedish Life Cycle Center partners in the field of sustainability and the life cycle perspective. Knowledge building and sharing experiences are the key words within this group.
Background
During fall 2015, Swedish Life Cycle Center, together with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency invited a number of government agencies with the aim to increase the collaboration between agencies and partners in Swedish Life Cycle Center on life cycle realted issues. These meetings are being coordinated within the projects Swedish platform for the life cycle perspective and Innovation cluster for the life cycle perspective.
Aim & objectives
The aim of the group is to increase the collaboration between government agencies regarding the life cycle perspective and with partners in Swedish Life Cycle Center by sharing experiences and knowledge building.
Outcomes
The group has gathered several times for knowledge sharing and to discuss a variety of topics, such as: LCA-data, life cycle perspective in public procurement, EPD and PEF. The group has also arranged the seminar “Sustainable procurement – the role of life cycle perspective”, which took place in Stockholm in May 2018.
