Course in applied life cycle thinking, April 2-3, 2025

On April 2–3, Swedish Life Cycle Center hosted a two-day course in applied life cycle thinking, bringing together 14 participants from industry and business, all looking to strengthen their practical understanding of the life cycle perspective.

Throughout the course, participants explored both the fundamentals of life cycle assessment (LCA) and its application across various industries. Working with real-life examples, the participants developed practical skills they can apply directly within their own organizations.

The course was led by Karin Sanne, Head of Life Cycle Management Group at IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, and Kristian Jelse, sustainability consultant and owner of Greendesk.

The participants also got to hear from two guest speakers, Sofia Poulikidou, LCA Specialist at Höganäs AB and Björn Spak, advisor at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.
