What’s up for Life Cycle Initiative in 2019?

On September 27 it was time for the 2nd General Assembly of Life Cycle Initiative, where Swedish Life Cycle Center is a member. The day focused on commitments and results from ongoing projects as well as future work plan and activities in 2019.

Among other things, the initiative is now planning road tests of social LCA guidelines developed over the last year (and is also launching a number of tools.) Some new areas for the next stage is projects related to guidance and tools for analyzing hot spots as support key decision makers in politics. Focus areas such as green economy and green procurement were also discussed. The initiative expressed the importance of success stories in LCA that can lead the way forward.

Swedish Life Cycle Center will continue its information sharing with Life Cycle Initiative and hope to create interesting collaboration projects in the future.
