SETAC Europe 26th LCA Symposium, Gothenburg 2024
Making LCA meaningful: good data, better models, sustainable decisions
SETAC Europe 26th LCA Symposium is jointly organized by the Swedish Life Cycle Center and SETAC. The successful conference series will take place from 21st to 23rd October 2024 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The symposium will gather the European life cycle community from academia, research institutes, industry, government agencies, consultancies, and NGOs to share their latest research, applications, and discussions about Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The 26th LCA Symposium will be held as a face-to-face meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden, at Chalmers University of Technology, and will feature both regular sessions and interactive sessions.
Programme
With the theme as a starting point (and with the whole LCA process in mind), the aim of the conference is to contribute to improved LCI data, enhanced application of LCIA and a better understanding of the contexts in which LCAs are applied and how they can be improved.
The conference will offer a scientific program with space for presentations, discussions, and workshops. It will also include a social program and parallel sessions.
Venue
The conference will take place at Chalmers Conference Centre, Gothenburg. The Conference Centre offers some of Gothenburg’s most modern conference venues in a central location, just a few minutes away from the Avenue and Götaplatsen. It’s close to the city centre and easily accessible by trams and buses (only 10 minutes from Gothenburg central station).
