On February 6th at 13.00-14.30 (CET) Swedish Life Cycle Center arragnes a seminar on economic policy instruments for a more circular economy together with Maria Ljunggren (Chalmers) and Tobias Persson (Swedish Environmental Protection Agency). This meeting is a co-arrangement between the working groups Circularity & LCA and the government dialogue group. Partners, SMEs and government agencies in collaboration with the center are all very welcome to spread this calendar invitation within their organizations.

Over the past two years, Maria Ljunggren (Chalmers) and Tobias Persson (Swedish Environmental Protection Agency) has been appointed by the Swedish Government to serve on a committee tasked with investigating “in which areas, such as material flows, product groups or services, and in what ways economic instruments can be used to promote the transition to a circular economy”. This seminar will present key conclusions and insights gained from this work and inquiry.
The inquiry is currently out for consultation with a deadline of March 11, 2025.
